Heidi has an advanced scope of experience and training across UK, China, the US and Australia.
Graduating as an acupuncturist in London in 2003 she worked for the world renowned Zita West fertility clinic in London as well as her own private practice until moving to Australia in 2008.
Heidi also received a clinical certificate in 2003 from Hangzhou Hospital in China for further training in neurological disorders, gynaecological and obstetric care and paediatrics.
She added Chinese Herbs through a Bachelor of Health Science at UTS in Sydney in 2015.
Since 2019 Heidi has completed training in alternative treatment for eye disorders. Completing a MasterClass to integrative care for Vision disorders with Dr Marc Grossman and, Advanced Micro Acupuncture 48 with Dr Rosenfarb. From this Heidi assembled the ben &biao ‘vision acutherapy‘ protocol.
During the Pandemic period of 2020-2022 Heidi has spent significant time learning cognitive behaviour therapies in order to help patients move mentally to where they need to be.
In 2022 Heidi added in orthopedic acupuncture skills training in 2022 with Dr Dan Dominguez (THE sports acupuncturist) and Dr Richard Hazel.
Not listed are the multiple seminars/webinars attended over the years to learn, understand and integrate the use of clinical supplements into treatment strategies.
Heidi’s integrated approach for patient care means she sees a broad range of issues.
Heidi is a member of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA) and is registered as a Chinese Medicine Practitioner with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA).
